I bought the Custom Control Panel along with Portal Managed Desktop Modules. Yours allows controlling access to the page functions and common tasks, while the other allows controlling access to desktop modules. I'd like to have both functionalities, but since both programs change the iconbar and add their own code that doesn't seem likely. What's the possibility of getting together with them and figuring out a way to combine both functionalities into a single unit, or just finding a workaround so I can use both modules?

I can't say that I'm happy to hear there won't be any more work on the module until DNN 5. I've only got two of our sites updated to DNN 4 yet so we're not planning on doing anything with DNN 5 for quite a while.
